Heracleum Endless

A perpetual blossom of new branches that multiplies by the meter, Heracleum Endless by Bertjan Pot may really grow out of reach! There is hardly a limit to what Heracleum can now achieve by developing in straight lines, generating corners and forming square geometric shapes. Given the seed of a good idea, it may grow into any kind of environment, meter by meter. Let there be no end to the bloom of Heracleum Endless!

BERTJAN POT

Is a designer, probably best known for his Random Light (1999). The light started as a material experiment, which is basically the start of each product created by Studio Bertjan Pot. The outcome is usually an interior product showing a fascination for techniques, structures, patterns and colors. Most experiments start quite impulsively by a certain curiosity for how things would function or how something would look. From there Bertjan takes on challenges with manufacturers to explore possibilities and push the boundaries a bit. The reward for each challenge is a new one. Studio Bertjan Pot works with manufacturers such as Arco, Established & Sons, Feld, Gelderland, Montis, Moooi and Richard Lampert.

STELLAR Mirror

Jake Phipps/Design

Part of the award winning Stellar Collection - the Stellar Mirror is inspired by the precious qualities of naturally forming amethyst geodes and machine cut diamonds.  The large expansive centre of the mirror is in stark contrast to the turbulent seam of 750 individually sized and angled mirrored sections that surrounds it.

This change in surface creates an optical dispersion that breaks down the light and the surrounding environment, delivering each piece to the eye as one sparkling entity. As the ambience of the environment changes throughout the day, so too does the colour and lustre of the table, creating an ever changing focal point to a room.

after the success of gong washbasin at salone del mobile 2014, on the occasion of salone del mobile 2016, kreoopresents ‘kora’, an elegant ellipsoidal marble bathtub, that gives uniformity and elegance to the bathroom ambience, evoking the ancient tibetan bells. born as a complement to the sink, ‘kora’ also has a reference to a traditional musical instrument of west africa, characterized by an elliptical shape. the reference to the music, and specifically to the sound of water, with its quiet and silent impetuosity, is the soundtrack of a new way of experiencing the bathroom of contemporary people, and ‘kora’ is its main protagonist.

As in gong, â€˜kora’ is cut from one single solid block, carved with a meticulous and fine technique, achieved by digging the stone, firstly with specialized technology and then handcrafted for details and finishes. the tub rests on an iron tripod that supports its volume, giving stability and elegance. suspended from the floor, despite the strength of the material, the water finds in ‘kora’ a new lightness. marble is free from its weight and floats in the air. at salone del mobile ‘kora’ is presented in the version bianco estremoz but available in other colors such as bianco carrara, black marquina and grey st.marie.
